3 miles in 27:10 for 9:03 pace.
I forgot to mention yesterday that during my run I was the closest I have ever been to a deer. When I started my run to the gym, there was a deer just looking at me across the street. I didn't want to startle him to run in front of traffic, so I kept talking to him and telling him to run back into the river area. He just kept looking at me. I think I made a friend. :)
Speaking of yesterday's run it's nice to know that I'm not the only one who's a sweat monster.
(GAH! I totally had a someecard to include in here that's hilarious, but I think they changed up the format of their site, and I can't upload it. Sniff.) Go here. It's funny. To prove how sweaty mcsweaterson I truly am, an old co-worker sent me this ecard at the start of this fall. Too funny.
Yay, I'm a genius. Here it is:
Awesome run! Your legs are ready to go in the morning!
ReplyDeleteHahaha hilarious! Love Someeccards, they always crack me up. Nice morning run lady. I dont know if I can ever get there.
ReplyDeleteWow that is crazy that 7:30 is sleeping in. Some days I am bitching when that's the time I have to get up ;) Way to go on another great morning run!
ReplyDeleteI feel like running in the morning helps you to run faster because your legs are not tired from walking around all day and working! i could be wrong though!
ReplyDeleteI empathize with being a sweat monster. I ran 7 miles on a hotel treadmill a couple days ago and ended up wringing the sweat out of my shirt when I was done. Honestly!
ReplyDeletei loooove someecards!!!! they are hilarious and i can spend so much time just browsing them all :) i think getting sweaty is GOOD def contributes to that feeling of accomplishment :) and i love that the giver is your fave book. i will always love that book... it is one of a kind :)
ReplyDeleteHoly crap that card was written specifically for me. I am the sweatiest person I know... seriously, I sweat wayyyyyy more than my guy friends. Ugh.
