Oxysox Review + Jerbear's on the IR List

I was sent a pair of Oxysox to review for my blog and I was beyond stoked to do so.  I've entered numerous giveaways to win a coveted pair of compression socks, but without any success.  I thought I was doomed to lead a compression-legged-less life.

When they arrived in the mail, I immediately put them on.  Because my legs were a-hurtin' after a tough tempo run.  After wearing them around for a few hours cooking dinner (= eating ice cream) and lounging around my apartment, I was kind of in love:

I had previously thought that I didn't have a need for compression socks because my calves don't really get tired/sore after runs.  Well apparently that's not their purpose per-say....
Taken from a Running Times article:

Compression socks are aimed at improving oxygen delivery to muscles, speeding lactic acid removal and stabilizing the lower leg for greater muscle efficiency.
According to a study, conducted at Stellenbosch University in South Africa, subjects showed a faster lactate recovery rate after exercise when wearing the compression socks, suggesting that compression socks might speed recovery after a strenuous workout or a race.

When I took the socks off before bed, my legs felt fresh enough to do another run.  I normally have lingering fatigue in my legs for almost a full day after tough workouts (intervals, tempo runs, long runs) which is why I set my schedule to have an easy day after these runs.  Goodness they were happy!

Another high point is that the socks are black, so I was able to wear them to work with dress pants after a morning long run and reap their benefits whilst padding my piggy bank (jk, we all know you don't make the big bucks at a non-profit :p).                I wore them the night before the half marathon, and although they weren't magic enough for me to run my 1:50, I don't blame them.  They did make my legs feel much MUCH better after wearing them much of Sunday afternoon post-race and some of Monday morning.  Thanks to Oxysox for sending some of these awesome compression socks my way.  For those of you who do not have compression socks, SWEET LOUISIANA YOU SHOULD.  But seriously.  :)  My only suggestion (and this would be only for women, since I'm not sure about you dudes) is that if you're on the cusp size-wise, to go with the smaller size.  I was sent a small and a medium since I'm a 7, which classifies as both small and medium, and the smalls were perfect, while the mediums were a little long. :)

If you go to Oxysox and use jerbear10 at the check out you'll get 30% off your order.
Also, coming soon:  a MONSTER (seriously it's monstrous) giveaway including a pair of Oxysox.  Whoo!  But that shouldn't prevent you from getting your discounted pair.  If your legs love you with one pair of compression socks, it only makes sense that they would love you doubly with two pairs. ;)

It appears that one leg is longer than the other....no wonder I keep getting random small injuries.

Oh hey, speaking of random injuries.... ugh.  I'm 99% certain that I have a case of runner's knee.  My knee felt weird on my 6 miler last week, and hurt all day Thursday and Friday.  After icing and icing and icing, and then icing a couple of more times, I tried to test it out Monday on an easy run.  Really I just want to run my 1000th mile for the year.  Yes, I'm still at 999.4.  I made it :37 seconds before I had to turn around and walk home.

After taking some time to reflect on the "injury" (I'm using injury loosely here, since everything I've read/been told makes it seem like this is more of an annoying condition than a full blown injury....and I'll totally be ok with that distinction), I've realized that it's probably just my body's way of saying it needs a break.  I tend to take a day or two off after a major race and throw myself right back in to training for the next race.  My body seems to give me little random injuries every few months to encourage a week off.

I think it may also be a blessing in disguise, because, to be honest, I was still a little bitter about the half marathon.  It's much easier to put the hard work in when you're seeing awesome results (yes, I'm totally that runner, extrinsic rewards?  yes please!).  When you put in the hard work and fail (yes I know I didn't fail, I'm being dramatic) it's easy to lose a little bit of your drive.  I have a feeling that forcing my body to take some time off is only going to fuel the training fire.

Today I hit the trails on Miss Princess Leia and we decided to haul a little bit of booty.  At one point I had to bike super duper fast (for me) to pass a couple of people on bikes, while another was coming in an opposite direction.  After I had passed them I realized that quicker speed was totally doable, and continued to maintain that pace for the remaining 6-8 miles.

I did 16.07 miles in 1:05:15 for 14.85 mph.

Long Run Fail

Since I'm heading home this weekend for a wedding and other shenanigans that means long run shuffle-a-roo.  I had originally planned on running it this morning at 4:45am but then I realized that the sun doesn't show it's face until 6:30 and running on the trails for 9 miles in the dark is a bit frightening.  Then I decided I could just handle them after work.  No problem, right?  Tuesday night was beautiful, surely Thursday would be as well, right?  Wrong.

It was in the high 80's with high humidity, causing the heat index to be ~92.  Aaron agreed to run the first 3 with me and then be bike/pit crew for my last 10.  Yay for running buddies!  I slowed my pace down to accommodate for the heat, but didn't take any fluid until 4.5 miles in when I stopped to Gu and drink.  When I got going, I immediately felt light headed/pukey/ready to faint.  I decided just to walk the 1.5 miles home.  Long run fail.  :(

I ended up with 4.7 miles in 46:01.

I still have a 7 mile tempo run scheduled for Sunday night (hopefully post-hangover....yes it'll be one of *those* weekends.  Your good friends only get married once...hopefully.) and debated about doing the 13 instead of that.  I think at this point in my training, I'm confident in my endurance and would benefit more from the tempo work.  Plus I still have a 14 miler and 12 miler left before the Sioux Falls half.

Once we got back to the apartment, I wasn't ready to call it quits completely, so we grabbed Princess Leia and hit the trail for almost 14 miles.  I was out of g-a-s for the last 3-4 miles.  Holy cow.  But biking in the heat is not nearly as brutal as running in it is.  Ick.

And in other obsessive Dear-God-I-Love-my-car-news, I've been marking off "firsts" like most new mothers do with their newborns.  On Tuesday I had my "first" sweaty car ride after my speed work session at the track.  Incidentally, this was also the "first" time I sufficiently stunk up my car (won't be the last.... I'm a stinky/sweaty runner...).  Wednesday marked my "first" time getting and enjoying a starbucks.  This weekend will mark my "first" road trip in my baby.  If I purchase a baby book and try to convert it to a car book, someone please step in.......

July in Review

Total Miles: 102.3 up from 90.5 last month. (Wow apparently last month I knocked it out of the park with 130...go Jeri of 2009!)
Total Time: 15:55:59 up from 14:18:41.
Total Runs: 17 for an average of 6.02 miles/run.
Highest weekly mileage: 7/19/2010 — 7/25/2010: 30.1 Mi 4:44:05
Favorite run: My mock half marathon where the temps were cool and I was reminded of why I love running. Also, killer 800 m. repeats at the track. (To be honest, this also could've fallen under hardcore run as well. I'm a bit of a masochist apparently.)
Most hardcore run: Mile repeats.  Always will be the worst workouts EVER!
Favorite Race: Lennox Firecracker 5k.  I raced my smartest 5k to date, place 2nd for women, and won my AG.  Whoo!
Bike Miles:  88.7.  I outbiked my running mileage 3/4 weeks this month.  Uh oh running...you've got some competition!!
Current Jams: Weezer--(If You're Wondering if I Want You To) I Want You To & Can't Stop Partying.  Also really digging Eminem & Rihanna's Love The Way you Lie.
__________________________________________
Monday I had planned to join the area biking club for their 30 mile recovery ride.  We figured this would be my best introductory ride since they go pretty slow for it.  I broke down and bought some uggggggggly cycling shorts (camel toe illusion included FO FREE!) to accompany for the ride.  And then the storm came in.  Aaron and I rode around a bit to check out the flooding and then called it a night.

Unfortunately, I had eaten like I was going to bike 30 miles (caramel roll as big as my face and 1/2 a Qdoba burrito).  Since our trails are still flooded and super muddy, I decided to hit the gym for some indoor biking.  Armed with some fitness magazines that I have neglected for months, I decided to bike for 60 minutes.  Well that 60 minutes led to another 25 when I realized I could get a solid 20 miles in total.  I did the first 60 on the recumbent bike (boring!) and the last 25 on the upright (much more fun and a better work out IMO).  I've never actually used the upright bike, so I was surprised at how much harder it seemed to be.  Plus I wasn't experiencing the weird butt/hammy pain that I was on the recumbent.

Whatever you do, please don't tell Princess Leia or Polly Sunshine about last night.  I fear revolt!  There's two of them and one of me.  Things could get ugly. :(

Also, thoughts on the Brett Favre retirement "rumors"?  He will always have my heart even if he has broken it on more than one occasion. ;)

Introducing: Princess Leia

After last Monday's race it was off to get some food and to do some shopping with Aaron.  Yes, I was at least kind enough to change out of my racing shirt into the shirt they gaveaway at the race, because phew....I don't smell so dandy after running hard.  Before I knew it, we were at Scheel's and Aaron was telling a dude working there that I wanted to try out a road bike.  Whaaaaaaaaaaa?  I mean, we've discussed me getting a road bike.  And in exchange for me creating a training program for him, he was going to lend me his expert road bike knowledge in order to make an informed decision, but I tend to like to plan things years in advance.  Especially large purchases.

So I nervously got on a road bike (for the first time) wearing a helmet (for the first time) and road around the parking lot for about 12 seconds.  Done.  I know nothing about bikes.  I don't know if I "like" this bike because I've only ridden my sweet beach cruiser and some not so sweet mountain bikes back in the day.  So I threw in the towel.

And then we magically showed up at a bike shop.  I was really starting to hate Aaron.  Until I laid eyes on this creature.  I went from, "Yes, I'd like a road bike, but don't know if it's in my budget to get one" (this was the credit counselor in me speaking btw) to "Eeeeeeee I want it right now! Can I ride it home?!?  Can we go ride right now?  Ok fine I'll wear a helmet as long as I can ride her around!!!"  I had originally wanted to set aside money for a few months to pay for her, but once I realized that a few months = cold weather = no longer bike riding season, I gave in to some sweet financing options.  Credit isn't a bad thing when used wisely, yo. ;)
After signing my life away, we went to get Aaron's bike and set out for my first ride.  So much fun.  It's definitely a lot different from what I'm used to, and can actually go faaaaaaaast, which is 100% frightening to me.  I was momentarily thinking of hanging up my running shoes for my new love until I came back to reality.  When I brought her home there were some looks and scowls of disapproval from Miss Polly.  I have a feeling they do battle while I'm at work all day.  May the best bike win.

I took Princess Leia out for spin #2 and technically #3 on Sunday night when I just wasn't feeling the tempo run I had on the schedule.  Miss Jenn wanted to hang out, so I thought, "what better to go visit her than by bike!"  Luckily our places are separated mostly by bike trail, so it was a pleasant 8 mile jaunt over.  Since it's pretty flat I didn't have to practice changing gears too much.  By the time I left her place it was daaaaark out and kind of scary, so I hauled ass home.  Somehow I managed to make it home quicker than it took me to get there.  Whoo!  For the record, I'm still terribly frightened of going fast downhill.  Hopefully that passes....soon.

I did 15.8 miles in 1:17:00 (12.3 mph).  Speed demon I tell ya. ;)

Cruisin' with Miss Polly + Crafty Mo Fo

Thursday I had plans to hit the gym for some stationary bike-age, until I realized that I should hit the bike trails with Miss Polly instead.  Duh!  I was short on daylight, so I tried to go at a quicker clip than normal - HA!  There is no such thing as quick on this puppy.  Although, at one point, I was creeping up on a young guy on a mountain bike, and as soon as he saw me he promptly started to haul ass to keep me from catching up to him.  I did manage to pass 3 people biking, so I'm not the slowest person on the trail (ok, maybe I am and they were just humoring me, which is totally fine if that's the case).  Also, every time I get on my bike I'm half tempted to put on a cutesy sundress and put flowers in my hair.  Polly just brings up the inner girly girl in me I guess.  So random.  I ended up biking 10 miles in 56 minutes, for an insanely slow 10.7 mph.  Look out Lance I'm coming for you!

After the bike ride, I meant to do yoga, but it was closely creeping up on 10pm, and I still hadn't had dinner.  Horrible habit I'm getting in to.  When I got home from my bike ride, I tore in to the pictures I had gotten in the mail from Shutterfly.  Ooooooh race photos, random Green Bay photos, and pics of my adorable nephew from my work trip to Dallas.  I think this photo is adorable and thought the black and white version would compliment this frame perfectly.  When I first saw this as a DIY project, I knew I had to make it.  You can't tell from afar, but it's actually a mosaic created out of different shapes of credit cards/debit cards/gift cards!  For those of you who don't know, I'm a credit counselor, so I deal with people's finances and particularly credit card debt on a daily basis.  I've been wanting to have the perfect picture to take this to work.  Thanks H-Bomb!  But seriously he's sooooooo cute, right?

To make the frame:  collect 10-15 expired debit cards/expired credit cards/gift cards/promo credit cards you get in the mail.  Tip:  Before the holidays, ask your co-workers to save their gift cards after they've used them.  Someone getting hitched or knocked up in the office?  Ditto.  Next spend 1100 hours cutting up cards until your fingers have the scissor marks imprinted in them.  Use mod podge to glue them down in whatever manner is aesthetically pleasing to you.  Realize you haven't cut up nearly enough cards.  Spend another 1100 hours cutting.  Put the project aside for two months (seriously, I did).  Finish up on a rainy day.

It's fun because you could use different color schemes if you were super patient about collecting the cards to use.  You could actually plot out a specific color pattern.  Either of these options will likely add years to the project completion time, so it's best to not even think about doing them.  But whatever.

And thus concludes craft time with Jerbear.

5k on Saturday!  PR or BUST.

Running Buddy + Race Recovery

Something fabulous has occurred.  I may have met a running buddy sole mate for realsies this time. :)  I joined the Daily Mile a few weeks ago.  A girl added me as a friend (or I added her, either way it was FATE hah).  After looking at her training runs and race times I realized we were pretty much exactly the same speed.  Of course she was coming to this same realization at the same time and sent me a message letting me know that very information.  :)  After reading through her blog secretly (while she was also reading through my blog secretly) we deemed ourselves new best friends, without meeting, or actually speaking in person.  My god runner's are odd, no?

She was one of my best cheerleaders from afar during race weekend, and Monday night we planned an ice cream date to talk all about the race as well as her upcoming Fargo marathon (May 22nd).  Uh...ice cream....running talk?  Jenn, if you didn't have a hubby, I probably would've proposed to you right then and there!  If you aren't already reading her blog, here's another Jeri-endorsed-read-this-blog-yo!  PurpleShoe Runs If anything head there to read her race report from Fargooooooooo which I'm sure will be up soon if it isn't already!!  I can't wait until we're both recovered from our 'thons and can actually do the running buddy shiz. :D  [If I was a good blogger, I would've brought my camera and there'd be a smiling picture of us inserted right here, but I'm not, so use your imagination.]

____________________
Recovery has been not so fun.  You mean you can't run during recovery, wth?  Ok, I knew that, but I had this strange idea it was because you wouldn't want to run, not because you were physically unable to.  I spent some major time with Mr. Ice Pack Monday through Thursday.  I also did some mad stretching especially in the mornings when I felt like a creaky old lady.  Thursday I decided to take out Miss Polly and ride my bike to work (since I would be unable to on Friday which is actually Bike to Work day in my city).  Conveniently I live a nice 5k from work.  Yes, I know I'm blessed to live that close, hence why I drive like 10 miles/month. :p  By the time I got to work my quads were tiiiiiiired.  I think they were still in recovery mode plus biking into the wind with one gear is never an easy task. :)  Biking home was a breeze.  Literally, I had the wind at my back.  Did you know everyone smiles at a girl with a bright yellow bike?  It's fact.

I finally got my first run in Friday after work in holy crap it's hot weather.  Seriously.  I thought I was wearing pants and a jacket last week on my runs???  What's with this 80-90 degrees?  When I started out, I immediately started to feel all the places that were aching the latter parts of the marathon.  My hips felt like they needed replacing and my IT bands didn't take long until they were tired.  I stuck with the plan and did an easy 2 mile route, stopping at .75 to stretch stretch stretch, and stretching really well when I got home.  After stretching round 1, everything felt really great, except the IT bands were still pretty tight.  When I got home I had a nice little date with my rolling pin (which I had forgotten to bring to Green Bay with me, UGH!)  Hurts. So. Good.

I did 2 miles in 18:52 for a pace of 9:26.
1. 9:33
2. 9:19

Brick Workout (Ish) + You've got MAIL!

I had been looking forward to the weather on Wednesday all week. Sunny, warm, a reprieve from the horrendous cold rain. Could it be? My first nice weather day to take out Polly?!?!?! But first, my run. Work before play, ya know? I had to do an easy 4 miles. Since I was planning on taking the bike trail for my bike ride, I decided to do a hilly route for my run. Easy run....hilly run...same difference I suppose. :)

My Garmin started beeping at me at 1.39 that it was LOW BATTERY, all doom and gloom like. Oh garmin, get over yourself. I kept looking down at it, almost as a challenge to see how long it would last before giving up. Up hills, down hills, through hills, wait...what?? That puppy stayed strong through the whole run. Ok, well it did have one minor mishap where it tried to tell me I ran a mile in 4:30, but that sounds pretty legit, right? Luckily it was only the final mile that was messed up, and I know my ending point, so I was actually able to figure out my splits. Good to know that the low battery will go for at least an additional 2.61 miles. Heck ya.

I did 4 miles in 37:37 for a pace of 9:25.
1. 9:31
2. 9:39
3. 9:26
4. 8:59

Next up, the inaugural ride on Miss Polly. If you missed her big unveiling, here she is again.
Swoon. I checked weatherbug and determined that I had approximately 30 minutes to bike before sundown. Plugged in the Garmin for 5 while I found a sweatshirt to put on, switched it to cycling mode and I was off. To be honest, the first couple of blocks were a bit off. I haven't ridden a bike (other than a stationary) in probably 3 years. And since the handlebars aren't straight across I was kind of all over the place. :p After we got used to her, I was off.

Not kidding you, I was literally grinning from ear to ear the entire run. It was so much fun, and she's just so gorgeous. I did have some issues with the back pedaling brakes. I kept reaching for them on my handlebars and coming up with nothing. Hah. Also, there are a couple of hills that made for some trying times on a one speed, haha, but nothing too horrible.

I did 5.02 miles in 30:38 for a pace of 9.8 mph. HAHAHAH! Speed demon on the yellow beauty. I actually was biking VERY slowly especially around tight turns because I was super afraid that another biker would be flying through in the opposite direction and I'd crash, especially since I wasn't used to brakes, etc. Plus, I didn't by the bike for speed, merely fun. One of my good guy friends was making fun of my bike, and was shocked that I didn't get a "serious" bike since I'm such an athlete. I took that as quite the compliment, but know I'll only be biking for fun, and have no need for a spendy serious bike. :) I made it home just before the setting sun.

While wheeling my bike up to my apartment, I saw this growing out of the rocks by my sidewalk. A purple pansy. :)

These were my Grandma's favorite flowers, so whenever I see them I think of her. I took it as a sign that she was saying hello and that she also loved my sweet new ride. :) It is pretty random that it was growing wild, especially in some random rocks, and after 2 nights of frost.

Thursday night I got home from work and was BUMMED that I didn't have any mail. Doesn't it just make you feel unloved? Waah. But when I walked up to my apartment door, I saw this propped up against it.

First of all, I had to laugh because it was in an Asics running shoe box. I never buy boxes to wrap Xmas presents in, because I always have excess shoe boxes laying around. Haha. Too funny. I opened it to find this AWESOME collage made especially for ME. :) A while back I won a contest that Lacey put on through her blog Common Objects & Everyday Events. I was super excited because I never win anything, and I looooooove Lacey's blog. She's such an inspirational Faaaaaaaast runner, and always leaves such thoughtful and insightful comments on my blog. Have I mentioned how much I love the running blog community yet? ;)
Check out all this sweet loot!!! Definitely some really cool stuff in there I've never tried, a way cool magnet (which is already on my fridge for inspiration) and the DVD Running the Sahara, which I'm super excited to watch! Thanks for the giveaway Lacey. It was super fun, and I'm stoked I WON. :) P.S. I totally plan on cutting the sweet collage out of the box and displaying it with some medals/race bibs/etc. :D

Sadly, I've made the decision not to run the 5k I had planned on running tomorrow. :( I'm super bummed, but looking at the hourly forecast it's supposed to be a wind chill of 24 degrees, 17 mph winds, 20% chance of snow/freezing rain, and is supposed to snow tonight. I race for fun, and racing in that weather doesn't sound like too much fun. Which means I'll for sure be doing the 5k on the 24th, and hopefully the 10k on Halloween, because this girl wants to RACE (just not in the snow :p)!

Best of luck to all the bloggies who are racing this weekend. Kick some booty Mica, Morgan, Glenn, Jamie, XCountry2 & ChicRunner aka Danica, and all the others I've forgotten. I'll be patiently awaiting your results and race reports, since I'm a loser and axing my race. :p

Hello Lover! Introducing Polly Sunshine Light....

Cue Miss America Music.....Isn't she lovely???? :)

I have been looking on craigslist for a bike for over a year now. I knew I wanted a beach cruiser type bike, but didn't know whether I wanted one that looked old school or actually was old school. When I found this beauty I was in love. After a weekend without internet, I jumped online a week ago Monday to find that her listing was gone. I was heart broken. A few days later I had an email from the seller asking if I was still interested. It was destined to be. :) She joined my family on Monday and it's 2rue love 4ever 4 sure. When she first arrived I immediately started thinking of names: Sunshine, Banana Split (yes apparently I was taking names for My Little Ponys, whatev), when it hit me--Polly. My buddy Matt cued the middle name as Sunshine, and the rest is history. Of course Monday was 40 mph winds, and yesterday I didn't have time to take her out, and today is 30+ mph winds again. I still may take her for a short jaunt to the local library. I'm so happy. Heheh. :)

On Monday night I decided to say pooh-pah to an easy run and do my speed workout that I had scheduled for the week. I wanted to do 2 speed workouts this week, and thought my legs would be fresh to do them on a Monday, recovered enough to do another one Thursday, and then be good to go for the easy long run on Saturday. Plus I love me some speed work (have I mentioned that before :) ?)

I haded to the gym with my old running buddy Matt (who was doing his second gym work out of the day, crazy kid) for some 400 m. repeats. My fave. Sidenote: Absolutely NOT MY FAVE when I had to do them in high school, but I digress. I was to do 5 miles; 1 mile warm, 6 x 400 in 1:35 (6:20 pace) w/400 jogs in between, and 1 mile cool down.

Since I had the crazy bike purchase after work, and didn't hit the gym until 8pm, I was STARVING. Definitely not the way to start an intense workout. Uff. I started the workout at a very leisurely 10 min mile pace for the first mile. Then it was ON! After the first 400 sprint/jog, I did have to switch it from jogging 400's to walking .15 as I didn't want to waste any of my waining energy on jogging. Lame, I know.

1 mile warm up 10:00
Interval #1 1:34 (6:16 pace)
Recovery jog 2:35 (10:20 pace)
Interval #2 1:27 (5:48 pace)
Recovery walk 2:34
Interval #3 1:29 (5:56 pace)
Recovery walk 2:38
Interval #4 1:29 (5:56 pace)
Recovery walk 2:42
Interval #5 1:31 (6:04 pace)
Recovery walk 2:44
Interval #6 1:33 (6:12 pace)
Recovery walk 2:44
1/2 mile cool down 4:53 (9:46 pace)

Uff da, I was dead tired after the run, and ooooooooooh soooooooo hungry. But nothing feels better than running fast and hard, that's for sure. It is kind of crazy to think that in 7th & 8th grade (when I ran distance for our HS team, actual high school years, I sprinted) I ran my miles at those paces, only without .15 walk breaks. That's crazy. I think my best mile time was 6:07. I can't imagine doing that now. :p Although it would be fun to see what my mile time is now....hmm.... interesting... :)

Yesterday was a boring, I mean easy, 4 miler. I grabbed my gear after work, had the garmin look for the satellite and I was off. Whoa, Garmin is telling me I'm running a pace of :45. That's kinda of crazy. Then all hell broke loose, it was beeping all over the place, mile 1 clocked in at :02, mile 2 at :04. I stopped, walked back the 10 feet to my apartment, and by the time I got there it read 3.14 for the distance. Does that count as a new 5k PR? I think so! I tried to tinker with it, but decided it wasn't a big deal since it was just a junk mile run. I fished through an old drawer and pulled out the old running watch stand by. This baby has been with me since I started running in 2005. Looks so much cuter on my wrist than man watch aka Garmin. :) We made a good team.
vs.
The run was pretty boring, legs were a little tight/tired which is to be expected. Stretched really well post-run. I did the 4 miles in 39:15. I was keeping track of the splits, but gave up.

1. 9:57 ish
2. 9:40 ish
3. ???
4. 39:15-9:40-9:57-??? :)

I spent the evening running to Walmart to get a bike lock for Polly, dropping off the pics from the wedding (they're HILARIOUS!), get ingredients for cookies (nom), and stop by the grandparents for some supplies I was missing for an art project.

Last day without internet.  Can't WAIT for tomorrow.  :)
