I have arrived in sunny cold Dallas, TX. Where's the sun? I thought I left the cold back home?!? My bro apologized for the cold when he got me at the airport, and I told him the 40* was a good 60* warmer than back home (-20). No worries, it will be gorgeous on race day, and that's all that really matters.
I woke up this morning to some snotty/heavy breathing. I rolled over to see my nephew peering down at me on the couch. He has been going since then, including 10 full minutes of jumping up and down in front of the television. I'm thinking about getting him to run my race for me. The kid would probably win it for me. As soon as my nerves die down, I'll take some sweet pics of the little bundle of energy.
I just realized that you can sign up for text message updates of my progress on Sunday. Ooooooh. Big step from my rink-dink local half marathons, eh? If you're interested leave me a comment with your email, and I will give you the necessary deets (unless you're a scary stalker, and then nuh-UH!)
Ok, back to obsessively freaking out about the race.

Never been to Big D this time of year. Spring is usually when we made a visit while living in Topeka. Have fun, enjoy your family and trust me - you will Rock Dallas Rock and Roll!
