The Pancreatic Cancer Action Network - Sioux Falls Affiliate is putting on a 5k to fundraise money for pancreatic cancer research on June 3rd, two days before my mom's first heavenly birthday. 💜💜💜💜💜 She passed from pancan in August ten short months after her diagnosis (which is almost 3x as long as most pancan patients get).
There is a huge fundraising goal for the Sioux Falls chapter and some of my running friends have formed a team to run together and fundraise together (team: SFWR Light Savers... my friends are so witty!!). Please consider donating some money. Pancan currently has the lowest cancer survival rate after 5 years and i desperately want that to change.
